Unidos Por Venezuela: Artists Unite for Major Benefit Concert
A wave of artists are joining in solidarity for Unidos Por Venezuela, a forthcoming benefit concert in Miami set to raise funds for the families and communities affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. This humanitarian initiative aims to provide critical support for the South American country’s recovery and reconstruction efforts following the devastating natural disaster.
Joining the initiative are a powerhouse group of performers, including Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, Feid, Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Silvestre Dangond, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Olga Tañón, Lasso, San Luis, Piso 21, Alleh, and Zhamira Zambrano, with additional names expected to be announced soon.
The benefit concert and international telethon are led by CMN, Maestro Cares Foundation, TelevisaUnivision, and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with support from iHeartRadio, Spotify, Creative Link, EB Public Relations, and Arco Entertainment. The event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET on Aug. 16 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. It will be broadcast live across the United States, Latin America, and various digital platforms.
The initiative serves as a direct response to the twin earthquakes—measuring magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5—that struck Venezuela on June 24. The disaster caused widespread building collapses in La Guaira and Caracas, resulting in a significant loss of life and displacing thousands of residents. Funds raised during the event will be administered by recognized international humanitarian organizations to address the various phases of recovery.
Viewers can contribute through QR codes, text messages, and digital platforms during the broadcast. The concert will also feature special reports on rescue efforts and survivor testimonies to highlight the resilience of the Venezuelan people. Tickets for the event go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on July 17 via Ticketmaster.
