Who will be nominated this year? This year’s calendar notes that music released between June 1, 2021, to May 31, 2022 can be considered for Latin GRAMMY nominations. With this in mind, popular Latine albums such as Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (May 6, 2022), Anitta’s Versions Of Me (April 12, 2022), Sebastián Yatra’s Dharma (Jan. 28, 2022), and Rosalía’s Motomami (March 18, 2022) are all eligible for the run.

Daddy Yankee’s Legendaddy (March 24, 2022), Becky G’s ESQUEMAS (May 13, 2022), Natanael Cano’s NataKong (April 8, 2022), and emerging artist Eslabon Armado’s Nostalgia (May 6, 2022) also qualify and make the deadline, to name a few. J Balvin’s JOSE (Sept. 2, 2021) and Natti Natasha’s Nattividad (Sept. 24, 2021) also make the cut based on their release dates.

This is already shaping up to be a big night for Latine music, especially as it continues to become more diverse and popular. Who will lead this year’s nominations? We’ll keep an eye out for more announcements — stay tuned!
