If AW22 was the season that fashion got freaky then Sunnei was one of its most mad-making merchants. As guests were made to stand (not sit) on metal benches, designers Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina debuted a collection that bucked the traditional form of clothing, full of neoprene tailoring and the kind of tactile knitwear which looked as though it had been forged from a microfibre cleaning mitt or some kind of tendrilous car-washing column.
