It’s said that every divorce comes with its challenges – even if it’s an amicable split. Sofía Vergara (Modern Family) and Joe Manganiello (True Blood) are no different. According to Us Weekly, the former couple are still working on the divorce settlement, which reportedly includes the chihuahua they share.

“They still have a few issues to figure out, like custody of their dog, Bubbles,” a source told the publication. “But Sofia hopes they can move forward in a calm, fair fashion.”

Vergara and Manganiello, who adopted Bubbles after they got married, announced they were ending their 7-year marriage last week and put out a joint statement on their decision. “We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” Vergara and Manganiello said. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

It’s evident from photos and videos on Vergara’s and Manganiello’s social media pages that they both love their 10-year-old pup very much. In one video, Manganiello is celebrating the dog’s birthday this year by treating him to a creamy puppucino.

In the year prior, Vergara posted a photo celebrating Bubbles’ birthday with a tasty-looking cake with light blue frosting. We’re not sure how Bubbles blew out his candle, but we’re sure it was adorable.

Hopefully, Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello can come to a decision about their dog that will make them both happy during this difficult time. We’re sure Bubbles still wants delicious doggie treats from both of them.
