Sofi Tukker Deliver Electric New Twerk Anthem “Throw Some Ass”

The dynamic duo is back at it again. Sofi Tukker just kicked off the rollout for their new album BREAD (an acronym for Be Really Energetic And Dance), with playful new tune “Throw Some Ass.”

According to their social media, the two have spent much of the last few years traveling through various parts of Brazil, and this song is majorly influenced by this. The sonic backbone of the track is a Brazilian tropicalia drum beat, around which vibrant piano and guitar are arranged. The cheeky lyrics, which discuss an ailment that can only be cured by “throwing some ass,” also switch into Portuguese halfway through the track.

To complete the new theme of their upcoming album, they also realized a music video filled with bread – literally, with bread weights and clothing made of bread. “Throw Some Ass” sets a high bar for the rest of the album, but we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
