Shop Supreme’s Groovy Collaboration with Emilio Pucci
If you’re still vexed about your summer uniform, Supreme and Emilio Pucci have a great solution: Swirling summery camp shirts and shorts. The collaborative collection launched today in Supreme stores and online. And though it was met with the fervor of any Supreme drop—think long lines and instantly sold-out items—the collection is still worth looking out for, even on the secondary market.
The marriage of a skate brand like Supreme and a luxury fashion label like Emilio Pucci doesn’t come as much of a surprise—especially following Supreme’s wildly popular collaboration with Louis Vuitton in 2018. What’s more, Supreme and Pucci have a sort of shared history. Long before his silk scarves were wrapped around the totes of stylish women everywhere from Palm Beach to Capri, Emilio Pucci was famous for designing ski attire. Similarly, before Supreme stickers were on the cars, laptops, and coffee mugs of, well, almost every Millennial and Gen Z-er, it started as a brand for and by skateboarders—and it still retains its own skate team. The marriage of design for sport with a strong aesthetic is what made both brands successful.
Here in the Vogue office—and our many group chats—editors are currently deciding exactly which pieces make the most sense. I think I’m venturing for the camp shirts and the lighter and crossing my fingers they get used during a summer full of revelry.
