“RR” Concert by Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía: Beyond Just PDA

Just a few weeks into his “Saturno World Tour,” Puerto Rican Latin trap artist Rauw Alejandro made a show-stopping entrance in front of more than 15,000 people by zip-lining onto the stage in an alien-like ensemble. On Friday, Mar. 31, the reggaetonero delivered a truly extraterrestrial performance at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in his hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Born Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz, the artist achieved his fourth consecutive top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart with his 2022 album “Saturno.” The recent performance featured impressive, freestyle dance moves that align with the tour’s intergalactic theme. Dancing is one of the things that sets Alejandro apart from other reggaeton artists.

The show included a performance from the famous Jabbawockeez, who have been touring with Rauw. Alejandro’s Friday night show also featured an impressive list of special guests, including Chris Palace, Omar Courtz, Yovngchimi, Álvaro Díaz, Lyanno, Brray, Baby Rasta, Chencho Corleone, and Arcángel. However, the biggest crowd pleaser was when Spanish singer Rosalía joined Alejandro on stage to perform songs from their newly-released EP “RR.”

Alejandro is known for pushing the boundaries of urbano music, and his gifted dance skills allow him to put on a show unlike any other artist within the genre. With back-to-back sold-out shows since the “Saturno World Tour” kicked off, Rauw Alejandro is quickly becoming Latin music’s next global artist.
