Rosehardt Unveils New Album ‘the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink’

Straight out of Brooklyn via The Bay, Rosehardt (aka actor Caleb Eberhardt) is gaining warranted traction for his gorgeous blends of hip-hop, R&B, soul, funk, and pop. His new album the world gets smaller each day it seems to shrink puts his mastery on full display.

Rosehardt’s single “The Navidson Record” set the tone for what to expect from this 13-track beauty. This is one of the more upbeat tracks on the album with its 70s dance beat. “808 SHIMMY” is a soulful ballad that could easily fill an arena. “Hunted” is haunting and billowy, while “cheat code” is pure hip-hop.

This album is all about growing up and the trials and tribulations that go through it, specifically when thinking about the changing of how you view the world. Rosehart explains,

“The specific relationships that inspired some of these songs were instrumental in helping me understand how my thirties were going to differ vastly from my twenties, just in perception alone. Perception of the world. Everything felt as though it was preparing to crumble, yet your thirties are the time everyone tends to say things sort of magically come together. It makes me laugh, because it’s kind of both and it’s terrifying”.
