Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have reportedly split up. PEOPLE exclusively announced that the couple have called off their engagement and broken up after more than three years together. 

This news comes after they revealed their engagement in the music video for “BESO” this past March. “Sources say that despite the love and respect the singers have for one another, they have both agreed to end their engagement,” the publication shared. 

Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía went public with their relationship in 2021. They released their first joint project earlier this year: an EP titled RR. The EP includes three songs, and Rauw performed them throughout his most recent Saturno tour with a montage of their relationship playing on stadium screens.

This year, Rauw Alejandro brought out Rosalía during his massive sold-out Saturno show in Puerto Rico in March. Just a few weeks later, he joined Rosalía on stage during her Coachella performance on April 15. “You know, tonight is very special for me,” she told the crowd. “Because four years ago, I came to Coachella, and I came alone. But this time, I’m no longer alone.”

Breakup rumors stirred up last summer after Rosalía released her single “DESPECHÁ” filled with lyrics about breaking free and letting loose as Rauw disappeared from social media. The two quickly put the speculation to rest during a night out following a stop on her MOTOMAMI in Puerto Rico last fall. They two were spotted dancing and holding one another at the show’s official afterparty. Rauw also clarified that he was focusing on what would be his Saturno album.
