Palace has a long history of teaming up or otherwise paying homage to iconic musicians. Last year saw the label drop a Whitney Houston-inspired collection, and join forces with 90s Madchester legends the Happy Mondays on a collab, and in 2021, it looks like we’re in for more of the same. Dropping its new Frank Lebon-lensed lookbook today, this season sees the skate label tip its five-panel cap in the direction of heavy metal goth icon Alice Cooper and his album Constrictor, on a jacket dubbed the ‘Palace Cooper’ (loving your work boys).

Elsewhere, this week saw Virgil Abloh debut his latest collection for Off-White via innovative, content-rich platform Imaginary TV, and TikTok birth a new trend that has seen users time travelling through subcultures to recreate yearbook photo day looks. Meanwhile, Slow Factory announced the line-up of for the second semester of its free fashion education program for BIPOC, which aims to decolonise fashion knowledge and ‘teach the necessary and radical subjects you didn’t learn in school’.
