Pablo Alborán Cancels Concerts Due to Severe Pneumonia
Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán has been forced to cancel his upcoming concert appearances as he continues to recover from a diagnosis of severe pneumonia. The artist, known for global hits like “Solamente Tú” and “Saturno,” shared the difficult news with his fans, emphasizing the need for complete rest under doctor’s orders.
In an update provided on August 26, Alborán confirmed he would be unable to perform at the Festival de la Luz in Boimorto, Spain, scheduled for August 30. This follows an earlier cancellation of a performance in Ciudad Real, which was originally slated for August 21. “Family, I am recovering little by little from pneumonia, but the doctors insist that I continue resting for a few more days,” Alborán stated via his Instagram account. “The recovery is taking a little longer than I’d like, but it’s on the right track; now it’s a matter of being patient and respecting the necessary timeframes so I can return to 100%.”
Despite the health setback, the artist remains optimistic about his future projects. Alborán, who is currently in the midst of his Global Tour KM0, recently announced a series of U.S. tour dates for 2027. The upcoming trek is set to launch on February 6 in Miami, with subsequent stops in major cities including New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, before concluding in Dallas, Texas.
The singer expressed his sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to his fans and thanked them for their ongoing support and affection.
