Ozuna Kicks Off ‘SG’ Track with DJ Snake, Megan Thee Stallion, & Lisa from BLACKPINK
Rapper Ozuna kicked off DJ Snake’s newest track, “SG,” when the official music video dropped late Thursday night/Friday morning. “SG,” which is short for “sexy girl,” features DJ Snake, Ozuna, rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and Lisa of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK performing together.
Dressed in a red t-shirt and a shiny silver cap at the start of the video, Ozuna sings about the good time he had the night before dancing and drinking with a “sexy girl.” Scenes from the video include Ozuna and DJ Snake dancing in front of a tall sculpture and then the foursome meeting atop a bright orange and yellow stage floating in a swimming pool under the moonlight.
“Sexy girl, tell me what you gonna do,” Ozuna sings. “I want to see, know what you know how to do.”
While “SG” is an interesting collaboration that DJ Snake has put together, we’ll be honest. It’s an awkward video, and no one really looks like they know what they’re supposed to be doing until it’s their turn to provide lyrics. Stallion takes over from Ozuna about two minutes into the song and begins to rap about her body and the fact that she doesn’t have any man problems.
After another couple of minutes, Lisa, who, up to this point, has been performing a choreographed dance with a group of masked women, takes over and sings about dancing. This marks the third time a member of BLACKPINK has worked with Latine talent; having previously worked with Selena Gomez and Cardi B.
