Naomi Osaka and Cordae Serve Major Couple Goals at the 2021 Met Gala
Naomi Osaka hit the Met Gala red carpet with a major serve. The tennis superstar and Met Gala co-chair paid homage to her Japanese and Haitian heritage in a dress designed by Louis Vuitton and her older sister Mari Osaka.
During Vogue‘s Met Gala red carpet live stream, Naomi dished on what American fashion means to her. “For me, Americana kinda means a mix of all cultures, and this dress and this look kind of represents my two backgrounds, Haitian and Japanese, so I was really glad I was able to incorporate it.”
She didn’t hit the red carpet alone. She was joined by her long-time boyfriend Cordae, who rocked a khaki-colored trench coat with black pants, shoes, and shades.
