Meet KAINA, the Soulful Singer-Songwriter Repping Chicago’s Thriving DIY Scene

It’s here: Rosalía has shared the tracklist to her third studio album, MOTOMAMI, which promises to be “a high” in her already illustrious career. 

The “El Mal Querer” singer took to Instagram to share the tracklist over the weekend. She captioned the image with: “Here you have the tracklist and can now pre save MOTOMAMIIIIII! Link in my profile!” 

The tracklist visual for the album is handwritten by Rosalía, and the song list is as follows: Saoko, Candy, La Fama ft. The Weeknd, Bulerias, Chicken Teriyaki, hentai, Bizcochito, G3NI5, Motomami, Diablo, Delirio de Grandeza, Cuuuuuuuuuute, Como Un G, Abcdefg, La Combi Versace ft. Tokischa, and Sakura.  

Rosalía initially shared the album cover on Instagram on January 31st. The highly-stylized and grainy image finds Rosalía with a black motorcycle helmet on, a “Rosalía” tattoo on her upper stomach, and red stenciling reading MOTOMAMI. 

After posting this announcement, celebrities like Euphoria actress Alexa Demi, Brazilian singer Pablo Vittar, and rapper Princess Nokia took to the comments to express their excitement about the upcoming album.  

MOTOMAMI is set to release on March 18th, 2022. On March 17th, at 7 pm EST/4 pm PST, Rosalía will be performing a live concert on TikTok, where fans will be able to experience each song off of Motomami is a unique audio-visual performance, each created by Rosalía. 

Rosalía recently spoke to El Pais about her musical goals, saying, “If Beyoncé and Rihanna could do what they did with soul and blues and turn them into pop, why couldn’t I do the same with flamenco?” With MOTOMAMI, Rosalía promises her most emotional and sonically adventurous album yet, taking a departure from her pop-inspired flamenco to twist the genre into something even more innovative, showing the true genius that underlies the artists’ every project.
