Lettuce Recruits The Sponges on Electrifying Remix of “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”

Originally released on Lettuce‘s eighth studio album in 2022, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” gets a very special re-imagining two years later. After being “party tested and approved” by Lettuce, The Sponges‘ remix of “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” is finally live.

A bangin’ house beat sets the tone for The Sponges’ interpretation of “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” as they slowly bring in additional funky elements one at a time. Building up to the drop, The Sponges creatively strip the track back, referencing the original version, only to flip the production on its head and catapult into an absolute house heater. They cleverly intersperse samples from the stems to incorporate as accents to their immaculate, dance-floor-ready version.

The Sponges shared their thoughts on the remix, commenting:

Getting the opportunity to remix Lettuce was an absolute dream come true for us. We have often referred to Lettuce as the greatest funk band active today, and we do not say that lightly! We’ve seen Lettuce in concert probably half a dozen times or more, and we wanted to be able to share their vibes with our audience in a way that fit with our sound. In short, we loved the idea of bringing Lettuce to the club. House music fans deserve a little Lettuce too! And thus, our remix for ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ was born.
