LAMC Unveils 2026 Wonder Women of Latin Music Honorees
The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) has officially unveiled its 2026 Wonder Women of Latin Music honorees, a prestigious group of 20 professionals who are driving innovation and progress within the music industry. This year’s recognition, announced in partnership with Amazon Music, highlights the diverse contributions of executives, journalists, and publicists who continue to shape the future of the genre.
Among the notable figures named in the Class of 2026 is Billboard’s own social media manager, Ingrid Fajardo. Her inclusion underscores the vital role that digital strategy and media engagement play in the modern music business.
“As we continue our collaboration with LAMC for Wonder Women of Latin Music, it’s an honor to recognize the outstanding women who are shaping the future of the Latin music industry,” said Rocío Guerrero, director of music, Latin-Iberia, Amazon Music, in a statement. “Their creativity and cultural impact elevate Latin music and also inspire the next generation of artists and executives. We are proud to celebrate their achievements and amplify the voices that keep Latin music evolving and globalizing.”
Now in its seventh edition, the initiative has honored more than 120 women to date. The list has previously recognized several members of the Billboard Latin team, including Leila Cobo (Class of 2020), Sigal Ratner-Arias (Class of 2023), Isabela Raygoza (Class of 2023), Griselda Flores (Class of 2024), and Jessica Roiz (Class of 2025).
In keeping with tradition, this year’s honorees will be celebrated through a special award and a dedicated social media campaign. Following a successful 2025 edition that featured performances by artists such as Camilo, Morat, Yami Safdie, and Ela Taubert, the LAMC is set to return to New York City from July 28 to Aug. 1, 2026.
