Katy Perry Collaborates With Theta Network To Drop Her First NFT Collection

The global pop star, Katy Perry has collaborated with Theta Network on December 15 to drop her first set of NFT art. 

The first set will be titled as “The Roar Package: Looking Back While Moving Forward.” The brainchild behind the hit “Roar” has recently released a statement where she mentioned how excited and thrilled she is to be diving into the cryptocurrency world. 

“As an artist I’ve always tried to keep an eye on the future, so now it feels like we’re stepping into it. The NFTs concept is new and exciting, so I’m thrilled my fans and I get to be early adopters in this new world. In addition to the digital NFTs, these drops will include the opportunity to get tangible collectibles as well, so you can come away with some one of-a-kind, incredible pieces of pop culture history,” she added in her statement. 

It’s worth mentioning that Perry’s NFT collection consists of 2,500 units and each unit is roughly priced at $100.
