Karol G Announces New Album ‘No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto’
Latin superstar Karol G has officially confirmed that she has a new album ready for release. The announcement came as a major surprise to thousands of fans during her record-setting concert on July 29 at Rogers Stadium in Toronto.
The upcoming project, titled No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto (which translates to “I don’t regret feeling so much”), serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to her 2025 release, Tropicoqueta. During the performance, the Colombian singer made history as the first female solo artist to headline the venue, using the stadium’s massive screens to reveal the album’s title, release date, and official cover artwork.
“I have an announcement to share, Toronto, and after this, I have a gift for you, too. I’ve been working on a project for a couple of months,” she told the crowd. “I’ve been locked in for months making new music. For months, I’ve been preparing a segment that will form part of this tour. I want to announce that on August 7, my new album will come out. It’s an album that I can’t wait to sing with all of you. It’s called No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto.”
The new collection is set to arrive on Friday, Aug. 7, at 12 a.m. ET. Fans have already received a taste of the project through the single “Matadora,” which the artist debuted during the opening night of her tour on July 24 at Soldier Field in Chicago. While the full tracklist remains under wraps, it is widely expected that “Matadora” will be a centerpiece of the new collection.
Karol G’s current tour, Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, continues to be a massive success, with support from artists such as Becky G, Greeicy, and Elena Rose on select dates. The tour supports her previous album, Tropicoqueta, which achieved significant milestones, including debuting at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart and No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200. The artist continues her momentum with her next stop at Northwest Stadium in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, Aug. 2.
