Jessie J Opens Up About her Throat Condition and How that Affected her Career

The mastermind behind “Price Tag” has recently dropped an emotional video telling fans about the struggles that came with Meniere’s disease.

She expressed how hard it is not to sing. 

“It’s literally my lifeline and my happiness. Being quiet is not something I’m good at. Or makes me feel like myself. Lord knows I’m loud af,” she added.

The 33-year-old British artist had also added that when she first got the symptoms, she thought it was nothing but fatigue from the studio. After being hospitalized and seeing doctors, she still feels pain. 

“With rest and little talking/singing, the nodules melted away. Like Olaf in the sun. But every doctor has told me if I sing (especially these songs), the nodules will just come right back.” Jessie J said. 

We wish her a speedy recovery, and we can’t wait to see her performing on stage.
