Jenna Ortega, Aubrey Plaza & Ariana DeBose To Present at This Year’s SAG Awards

The 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards take place this weekend (February 26), and plenty of familiar faces will be taking the stage to present at the prestigious ceremony.

The presenters for the evening include Latine talent like Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus), Diego Calva (Babylon), and Oscar winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story).

This year, Ortega is nominated for her first SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for the Netflix series Wednesday. Calva is nominated for his first SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for his role in Babylon, a comedy-drama set in 1920s Hollywood. Plaza is nominated for her first SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for her role in HBO’s The White Lotus.

DeBose is not nominated this year, but she won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story last year. “It’s an honor to be seen,” DeBose said last February. “Whatever firsts are attached to my name, they are immensely special to me, but I’m focused on the fact that if I’m the first of anything, that means I will not be the last.”

Along with DeBose, Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez also took home a SAG Award last year for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture for his role in the Apple TV+ drama CODA.

The 29th Annual SAG Awards air live on February 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix’s YouTube channel. It will also stream on Twitter and Facebook.
