Is Banda MS Collaborating With Ice Cube?

It looks like there’s new music on the way from Banda MS and Ice Cube. On Wednesday (Feb. 1), the Mexican group was spotted in the recording studio with the iconic rapper.

Banda MS is no stranger to the hip-hop scene. In 2020, the top-selling banda group teamed up with Snoop Dogg for their collaboration “Qué Maldición.” Becky G later joined them on a remix. A year later, Banda MS joined forces with Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan for the song “Dos Mundos.”

Now, it looks like Banda MS will be releasing music with Ice Cube next. One of the group’s singers, Alan Ramírez, revealed the news on Instagram. He posted a picture of himself in the studio with Ice Cube and fellow Banda MS member Oswaldo “Walo” Silvas Carreón. “Big things are on the way,” Ramírez wrote in the caption.

Carreón shared the same photo with Ice Cube on his Instagram account. He wrote, “Many times I have felt emotional sharing time with artists, but this time it was extraordinary!”

This year Banda MS is celebrating the 20th anniversary of launching the group. It looks like the band’s collaboration with Ice Cube will be part of the festivities. When asked if he would join Banda MS in celebrating their 20th anniversary, Ice Cube responded in Spanish, “Listo.” The video was posted on Banda MS’ Instagram account.

Banda MS is already kicking off its 20th-anniversary festivities. The group teamed up with Camila singer Mario Domm for their new single “Un Chingo De Tequila,” released today. It looks like the guys will continue to blend banda music with different genres in this new era of Banda MS.

Last October, Banda Ms brought banda music into the Call of Duty universe. The group released the song “141” with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II
