Sustainability minded Alexander McQueen stans, your time is now. The fashion house is the first to collaborate with resale site Vestiaire Collective on its new ‘Brand Approved’ initiative – a welcome enterprise that marries the latter’s commitment to circularity with the former’s premium high fashion credentials.
With pieces sourced directly from McQueen clients – whose wares are then authenticated by the house and assigned a buy-back price – those keen to sell are rewarded with a credit note to use in-store at Alexander McQueen in what fans are calling the ultimate win-win situation.
Elsewhere this week, Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff made her catwalk debut in New York after signing with IMG Models, while in London, Bimini Bon Boulash joined Art School’s community for the label’s AW21 runway show.
