Harris and Pence’s 2020 Vice Presidential Debate: Celebrities React (UPDATING LIVE)
Celebrities are sharing their opinions and reactions to the vice presidential debate between Republican nominee Mike Pence and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.
Harris and Biden took the stage on Wednesday (October 7). Pence and Harris will be more than twelve feet apart with plexiglass barriers due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
The actual event is taking place at Salt Lake City's Kingsbury Hall with a masked and socially distanced live audience that underwent temperature checks before entering. Surprisingly, this will be the only vice presidential debate.
According to CNN Harris is making history as the first Black and South Asian woman to participate in a general election presidential campaign debate.
Prior to the start of the debate, Kat Dennings said she already needed a cigarette and she's never smoked.
Debra Messing pointed out that Pence reportedly fought against using the plexiglass barrier during this town hall despite the virus spreading throughout The White House.
Kerry Washington shared a gif of Harris dancing while saying, "I believe that we will win."
Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams poked fun at the interruptions. "My safe word is "Mr. Vice President I am speaking."
