Fuerza Regida, Natanael Cano & More to Perform at Rolling Loud California
Today (Nov.14), the official lineup for Rolling Loud California 2024 was announced, and corridos are lowkey taking over. Fuerza Regida, Natanael Cano, Junior H, and Chino Pacas will be representing Mexican culture at the world’s largest hip-hop festival. The event is set to take place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, from March 15 to 17.
The hip-hop festival will feature headlining sets by Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Lil Uzi Vert. Other hip-hop legends, such as YG, Tya, Big Sean, Don Toliver, Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker, will also be hitting the stage. Representing Latines in hip-hop, Mexican-American rapper from Texas That Mexican OT will also be performing at the festival.
Corrido fans are flooding the official lineup announcement on Instagram, expressing their excitement. One commented, “adding regional Mexican artists to their LA lineup is a smart move 👏🏽 That’s the genre winning rn plus in LA!”.
Though some fans aren’t happy about the diverse lineup saying, “april fools already passed guys drop the real lineup😁😁,” Latine fans are relishing the diversity. One tweeted in Spanish, “The corridos tumbados not only fill stadiums in Mexico, they are also in the important festivals in the United States.”
Earlier this year, Anuel and El Alfa made Rolling Loud history by becoming the first Latine artists to perform on the Rolling Loud Stage in Miami, FL. El Alfa shared his experience at Rolling Loud Miami, writing in Spanish, “God already knows the future but I keep working.”
