The French producer begins “Lies” with a vulnerable vocal performance, showcasing his soft, emotive tone. He shifts the mood with a techno kick, addictive synth arpeggios, and spacious percussion risers. The falsetto hook and synth lead in the drop are both delivered through syncopated rhythms, contrasting the four on the floor beat and keeping the listener engaged.
