Even Dua Lipa Loves a Classic Ugg Boot

No one can resist the cushy temptation of Uggs. Not even Dua Lipa, who wore the lambskin boot this past weekend in New York after her Saturday Night Live performance. Lipa stepped out wearing the classic, mini ankle boot with black wind pants. The ultimate stay-at-home look, though it wasn’t all loungewear. With a black leather jacket from Balenciaga (with the house logo front and center), Ms. Lipa looked like a paparazzi-flanked celeb from the early ’00s. She topped off the outfit with a blue beanie and lime green sunglasses. 

Perhaps we should all take note of Lipa’s high-low look in the world of lockdown. Styling something that’s meant to be worn at home—in this case, the Uggs—with a polished piece is a perfect 2020 trick. The combination takes the boot out of the bedroom for a presentable, on-the-go chic look. In other words, if you don’t feel like changing out of your slipper-boots, throw on a killer jacket and head outside.
