…and more fashion news you missed this week

Earlier this year Diesel and radio platform NTS joined forces to launch ‘TRACKS’, a music collaboration exploring and celebrating music and club culture around the world. Now, the label has just announced that on November 5, it will be hosting a 17-hour rave in East London.

Starting at 6pm and ending at 11am the next day, there will be nine different stages guest curated by London’s best collectives and communities, including Pxssy Palace, No ID, NPOP, Chapter 10, Eastern Margins, Guttering, Adonis, and Black Obsidian Sound System. While more of the line-up is yet to be announced, performers who have already been confirmed include the likes of Ivorian Doll, Hook, DJ Priya, and Manara.

Otherwise, it would not be a week in fashion without an array of collaborations. Following a period of teasing Hypebeasts around the world, Gucci and Palace finally announced their collab, which launched through Gucci Vault today, October 21. Getting in the spirit for spooky season, JW Anderson released a Carrie collection featuring a plethora of pieces dedicated to Brian de Palma’s 1976 cult horror film.

In terms of sustainability news, this week saw a new Channel 4 documentary, Untold: Inside the Shein Machine, expose the realities of the mistreatment and exploitation workers at Shein factories face.  Elsewhere, following their protest at the National Gallery, activist group Just Stop Oil took to Harrods for their next stand against fossil fuels.
