Did Jenna Ortega Delete Her Twitter? — Here’s What We Know
Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) has seemingly deactivated her Twitter account.
Although there is no official reason why Ortega decided to take a break from the social media platform, some people are speculating that it’s because she’s getting negative feedback for multiple things said during an interview that she gave on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert.
During the interview, she talked about her close friendship with Wednesday co-star Percy Hynes White, who was accused of sexual assault earlier this year. This being the reason why Ortega deleted her Twitter is, of course, only speculation. But fans were quick in flooding her mentions calling her out for the association.
Another theory that people have about why she deleted her account is that she’s getting negative feedback about her admission to being “unprofessional” on the set of Wednesday by changing parts of the script that she said didn’t “make sense” to her.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had to put my foot down more on a set in a way that I had to on Wednesday,” Ortega said. “Everything that Wednesday does, everything I had to play, did not make sense for her character at all.”
Ortega added: “There were times on that set where I even became almost unprofessional in a sense where I just started changing lines.”
Ortega is currently promoting her new horror sequel Scream VI where she reprises her role as Tara Carpenter, one of the survivors of last year’s Ghostface attack. This weekend, Ortega will also make her Saturday Night Live debut.
Most recently, Jenna Ortega was seen on an episode of the popular YouTube talk show Hot Ones where she killed 10 spicy wings without flinching once – just like Wednesday Addams probably would’ve handled it.
