Danna Paola, Lil Jon & More Added to Perform at Latin American Music Awards

Another round of performers has been revealed for the Latin American Music Awards. Yesterday (Apr. 12), Mexican pop star Danna Paola, Dominican-Italian singer Yendry, Mr. 305 Pitbull, and Lil Jon were added to the line-up. 

The Latin AMAs will return on Apr. 20 in Las Vegas, NV. Danna Paola will perform her comeback single “XT4S1S,” which has gone viral since dropping last Aug. The performance will come on the heels of her new single, “1 Trago,” coming out tonight.

Rising Latine artist Yendry will also be hitting the stage. She will be joined by another Dominican act, Zacarías Ferreíra, for a special performance. Ferreíra is known for his bachata classics like Es Tan Dificil,” “Asesina,” and “La Mejor de Todas.”

Hip-hop icon Lil Jon will bring out Pitbull to premiere their song “Jumpin” live. Their collaboration will be a new take on the classic “Jump Around” by House of Pain. Lil Jon is nominated for Best Crossover Artist. Pitbull will also be highlighting the next generation of Latine acts. Up-and-coming Puerto Rican rapper Omar Courtz and Miami-based singer Vikina will perform “Pone Mal” and “Take a Shot” with the Cuban-American superstar.

Mexican duo Jesse y Joy was also added to the line-up of performers. They will join this year’s Legacy honoree Carlos Vives for a performance of his classic “La Tierra Del Olvido.” Puerto Rican singer Lyanno will hit the stage with Wisin and Emilia for a live performance of their collaboration “Tu Recuerdo.” 

The Latin American Music Awards will be hosted by Natti Natasha, Julian Gil, and Galilea Montijo. Other performers include Natti, Manuel Turizo, Young Miko, and Chiquis. Bad Bunny is the most-nominated artist of the year, up for 11 categories. The awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Apr. 20 at 7 p.m. ET on Univision, UniMás, and Galavisión.
