Colombian Music Titans Unite: Karol G, J Balvin, Maluma, and More Drop Anthemic Collaboration ‘+57’

Colombian music heavyweights Karol G, J Balvin, Maluma, Feid, Ryan Castro, Blessd, Ovy on the Drums, and newcomer DFZM have teamed up for a star-studded collaboration, “+57,” set to release on Thursday, November 7. Named after Colombia’s country code, the track unites some of the nation’s most celebrated artists, bringing their individual sounds together in a celebration of Colombian talent and culture.

The collaboration first came to light when producer and songwriter Ovy on the Drums, a long-time collaborator of Karol G, shared a teaser on Instagram. The short clip featured J Balvin proudly singing “Colombia gang gang,” followed by shout-outs to each of the featured artists. Ovy and Karol are seen dancing along to the reggaetón beat, hinting at the track’s energetic, party-ready vibe. Feid also posted a video, playfully listing names of those attending their upcoming “party,” underscoring the sense of unity and festivity behind the project.

For rising artist DFZM, the collaboration is a significant milestone. In an emotional post, he expressed his gratitude, saying, “You don’t know how happy I am feeling right now, THANK YOU @karolg for making my life a dream.” His involvement in “+57” reflects the track’s blend of established stars and emerging talent, making it a unique moment in Colombian music.

This collaboration marks the first time such a large group of Colombian stars has come together on one track. While many of the artists have collaborated before—Karol G with Feid, Maluma with J Balvin, Ovy on the Drums with Blessd and Karol—this song brings together an unprecedented lineup of Colombia’s biggest musical names. The artists bring a blend of reggaetón, Latin pop, and urban sounds that have made Colombian music a dominant force on the global stage.

The release of “+57” also coincides with several milestones for its artists. Ryan Castro and Blessd are currently on their joint ¡Ay Bendito Ghetto! tour in the U.S., building excitement among their American fan base. Ovy on the Drums recently celebrated his first No. 1 on a Billboard chart with “Mírame,” his collaboration with Blessd, which topped the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.

“+57” promises to be a powerful showcase of Colombia’s music scene, blending familiar names with fresh voices in a track that celebrates the country’s rich musical landscape. As fans eagerly await the release, the anticipation underscores the cultural impact of Colombia’s artists, who have risen to global prominence and continue to push Latin music forward.
