Christina Aguilera Announces Las Vegas Residency – Here’s What We Know

Christina Aguilera is returning to Las Vegas, NV, for a new residency. Today (Oct. 10), the pop star announced the dates for her upcoming string of concerts.

Aguilera is no stranger to Sin City. In 2019, she hosted her first residency, The Xperience, at what was formerly the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. Xtina followed in the footsteps of fellow pop stars Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, who had residencies at the same theater before her. The Xperience wrapped earlier than planned on March 7, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now Aguilera confirmed to Billboard that she will be moving to Voltaire Belle de Nuit club at the Venetian for her new residency. The first two shows will kick off on New Year’s Eve weekend on Dec. 30 and 31. It will be an intimate set of shows, with the venue’s max capacity being 1,000 people. Tickets are going on sale this Friday, Oct. 13. More dates will be announced that same day.

“I look forward to bringing Las Vegas a new show that fuses music, sophistication, and art in ways I have never performed before,” Aguilera shared in a statement. “What I love about the intimacy at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort is how up-close-and-personal I can be with the audience. [It’s a] truly modern twist on the performance experience.”

Before Aguilera takes the stage at the Voltaire, Australian pop star Kylie Minogue will debut her show, More Than Just a Residency, there on Nov. 3. The “Padam Padam” hit-maker has 20 shows booked at the venue through May 4, 2024.

This will be Xtina’s first residency since she released her second self-titled Latine album last year. There’s a chance she could also include some of her Spanish songs in her set. Aguilera is currently nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Record of the Year for her personal song “No Es Que Te Extrañe.”
