Charli XCX Meets With Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF Students For A Live Stream
The singer of “Break The Rules” is surely breaking the rules by an unconventional online meeting with a group of university students.
The live stream was moderated by a student at SU named Jordyn Pegues. The virtual meet and greet featured several interactive activities, including Q&As where the pop star shared her journey to success. Additionally, she opened up about the hardships which resulted from the ongoing global health crisis, especially in the creative industry.
Charli added that she misses “the palpable energy between me and the audience” and that she can not wait to get back on stage and perform. She also said that during the times where she hit rock bottom in her life, she had the LGBTQ+ community next to her.
“I owe so much to the LGBTQ+ community,” she said.
The pop star also had a 25-minute long performance where she performed her famous hits.
Flashback to the beginning of the pandemic, the pop star met all the Charli XCX fanbase, currently known as “Angels,” on Zoom.
