Cardi B Gets Dominican Republic Mansion from Offset for Her 29th Birthday

What do you get for a Grammy Award-winning rapper who has everything? How about a mansion in the Dominican Republic?

That’s what Cardi B received for her 29th birthday, which fell on Monday, October 11, from hubby Offset. The Migos rapper surprised Cardi at her birthday party, where he made a video presentation featuring the six-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bath mansion with a rooftop pool.

“I done bought you everything, so this year I wanted to get you something for having my beautiful son,” Offset said. “So, I bought you a house in the DR. Yessir, that’s how we coming – pool on the roof. God is good.”

Cardi posted the video on her Instagram page, which gives a tour with pictures of all the luxurious amenities of the mansion located in the northern town of Las Terrenas. She mentioned that she talked to Offset about investing in short-term home rentals in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries. However, he didn’t seem too interested in doing that. It turns out that Offset was planning to purchase without her knowing about it.

“I just can’t believe this,” Cardi wrote. “This was so amazing to me. For one, I’m so happy that you were actually really listening to me and not just smiling and nodding your head, so I could stop talkin’ to you about it.”

Cardi added that she was also glad that Offset didn’t think her investment ideas were “wack” and that he worked with her father to make the surprise happen.

“You and my dad… and the baby… are the most important men in my life, and it makes me so happy that you guys are close and have your own bond and relationship,” she continued.

The realtor of the property also shared an Instagram post, praising the thoughtfulness of Offset for this gift. “You listened to her – something she’s always wanted to do, own an INCOME PRODUCING investment property in the DR,” wrote Brandi Hunter-Lewis in the caption. “Then you masterfully put a plan in place. You made it happen!!!”
