Cardi B Confirms Split from Offset After More Cheating Rumors — Here’s What She Said
Cardi B has opened up again about her relationship status with her husband Offset. The Dominican-American superstar revealed that she’s been “single for a minute now” and that she is looking forward to the next chapter in her life.
Cardi B was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Offset, who came up in the hip-hop trio Migos. After dating throughout 2017, the couple wed in a secret ceremony in September of that year. In July 2018, Cardi B gave birth to their daughter Kulture. After she filed for divorce from Offset on September 2020, they decided to stay together. She then gave birth to their son Wave Set on September 2021.
Amidst rumors of troubles in their relationship this past year, the pair released the collaboration “Jealousy” in July 2023. But after weeks of speculation about their status as a couple, Cardi B went on Instagram Live on Sunday, December 10, and revealed that her relationship with Offset is over.
“I’ve been single for a minute now,” she said. “It has been like this for a minute now. I want to start 2024 fresh and open. I’m curious for a new life and a new beginning. I’m excited.”
Before Cardi B had made the revelation, she also alluded to the cheating and said that she “don’t think it’s true.” Offset also dispelled a rumor that he had cheated on her. Blueface claimed on X that Offset had cheated with fellow rapper Chrisean Rock. Both Chrisean Rock and Offset replied to Blueface’s messages denying his story.
“I ain’t never talk or touch that lady,” Offset wrote on X. “Real talk man you need some help!”
Cardi B also came to Offset’s defense in August when he was accused of cheating. She threatened an X user with legal action for appearing to create AI-generated audio and video of Offset with another woman.
