The MTV Video Music Awards are finally upon us, and all our favorite celebs showed out with some of their best looks on the red carpet. While stars like Camila Cabello, Kacey Musgraves, and Olivia Rodrigo opted for bright color-blocking moments in their fashion choices, Billie Eilish stayed true to her signature style with a black-on-black outfit.
The 19-year-old singer recently switched up her look to usher in her Happier Than Ever album era, switching from her oversized looks to a lingerie-inspired, pin-up wardrobe. But that doesn’t mean she’s giving up her streetwear vibe.
Billie’s presenting the Foo Fighters with MTV’s first-ever Global Icon Award, so she kept things cozy in a black oversized turtleneck, a black floral midi skirt, and chunky boots. The dark clothing only makes her platinum blonde shag stand out even more, and I, for one, admire her dedication to comfort.
Billie may also be keeping things low-key since she’s a co-chair for the Met Gala on Monday, September 13. If anything, that’s the perfect opportunity to go all out in the fashion department, and I can’t wait to see what ~look~ she pulls then.
