Becky G Gets Weekly Show on Facebook Watch

Becky G is getting her own talk show on Facebook Watch. The singer will host “Face to Face with Becky G,” with celebrities and her friends for chats about the Latine community. The weekly show is reported to premiere sometime next month.

“Staying connected to mi gente and our cultures is incredibly important to me,” Becky G said in a statement. “My new talk show on Facebook Watch will take this engagement to a whole new level — where we’ll discuss the issues that really matter to us and our communities, have great guests, and of course, invite everyone to the conversation.”

This latest show joins Facebook Watch and their diverse scripted and unscripted original content including  “Red Table Talk: The Estefans” with Gloria Estefan, her daughter Emily Estefan, and niece Lili Estefan. Becky G recently appeared on the Estefans show where she chewed on the chisme about many things including sex and when she herself feels sexy saying, “I might feel super sexy in the music video, but I’m also super sexy with my hair in a chongo (bun) and sweats.”

With her 18 million followers on Facebook, the social media giant is hoping to tap into Becky G’s popularity. Though her 0ver 28 million followers on IG or 18 million followers on YouTube don’t hurt either.

Often Becky G uses her platforms for activism. She is frequently speaking out on inequality and offers her full support to DREAMers. During the lockdown, Becky G hosted the “En La Sala” podcast from her own home. Every episode she hosted she donated $10-thousand dollars to a charity.

She has also dropped a new makeup line Tresluce Beauty. “For me, I want to build platforms where I can empower more women and share the light because we’re so much more impactful when we come together,” she said.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Becky G has a music career loaded with firsts. She was awarded the first-ever American Music Award for Favorite Latin Female Artist. She’s toured with Demi Lovato and J Balvin, and has collaborations with Daddy Yankee, Maluma, and Bad Bunny.
