Bebeshito Leads the New Wave of Reparto at Latin Music Week

As the 2026 #Billboard Latin Music Week approaches, Bebeshito is ready to take center stage as one of the speakers at the first-ever reparto panel, alongside Wow Popy, Rey Tony y Helabusador and DJ Conds. This milestone marks a significant moment for the genre, which continues to gain global momentum.

“It’s a huge opportunity for the genre. Trust me, the genre is celebrating,” he says in the latest episode of Billboard’s Cafecito Con video series. The Cuban singer, recognized as one of Billboard’s 2026 Latin Artists to Watch, spearheads the new generation of reparto stars. This musical movement, derived from the “repartos” or housing projects in Cuba, fuses urban music with traditional rhythms such as timba and rumba, all anchored by the distinct sound of the clave instrument.

In August 2025, the artist born Oniel Ernesto Columbie Campos made history as the first reparto artist to sell out the Kaseya Center in Miami, performing for a crowd of 20,000. His success has translated to the charts as well, with his viral hit “Tacto Que Llegó El Reparto” entering the Hot Tropical Songs chart. Reflecting on his rapid ascent, he notes, “Honestly, I am an artist who is deeply dedicated to this. I truly love it. I can’t let anyone down because people believe in me, and I have to make them proud; I bring a lot of discipline and consistency to my work.”
