Bad Bunny & Adidas Collaborate on Sneaker Dedicated to Puerto Rican Basketball Team

Is anyone surprised that Bad Bunny is releasing another pair of adidas sneakers this month? At this point, it would probably be easier to report when the “Tití Me Preguntó” rapper didn’t produce a new version of the Forum Buckle Low for his fans.

This time, the new shoes are dubbed the “Cangrejeros,” which is the name of the basketball team that Bad Bunny became part owner of in 2021. The Cangrejeros de Santurce is a team in Puerto Rico’s National Superior Basketball (BSN) league.

The colors of the Cangrejeros sneaker – orange and blue – are the same signature colors of the basketball team’s jersey. Embroidered under the Velcro on the shoe are the words “Santurce Cangrejeros.”

The three-stripe adidas logo on the shoe is orange, and the Cangrejeros de Santurce’s crab logo is printed on the tongue. One section of the shoe also includes a list of years that represent the eight times the team won their league’s championship, from 1962 to 2007.

Recently, Bad Bunny released the “Wild Moss” sneaker and his Bad Bunny x adidas Campus “Cloud White.” Other sneakers in El Conejo Malo’s collection include the “The First Café,” the “Easter Egg” and “Bad Bunny Forum-Back to School Shoes.”

Adidas isn’t the only collab Bad Bunny has been a part of this year. He partnered with Grupo Frontera for a song, fought in a couple of matches with the WWE, and more.

The “Cangrejeros” sneakers are expected to be available on May 15, 2023 on the adidas website according to Hypebeast. They are priced at $160.
