Anitta Has a Song With Missy Elliott Coming – & The Internet Is Going Wild
The rumored collaboration is officially confirmed: Anitta’s upcoming single will feature the one and only Missy Elliott. Imagine what a track featuring the trilingual powerhouse and one of the most famous American rappers alive will sound like?
“Yes! I’m shooting my music video feat @MissyElliott and it’s not a dream. JEZZZZZZZZZZ,” Anitta posted on her Twitter account on July 6.
The speculation surfaced when the “Envolver” artist posted an Instagram story asking her fans why they think she flew from Europe to Atlanta to spend less than 24 hours. After hours of keeping her fans in suspense, Anitta finally posted an Instagram story video featuring her partner Murda Beatz and Missy Elliott. In the short clip, Anitta says: “Yes guys, that’s why I flew all the way from Europe to Atlanta for 24 hours, cause I’m winning at motherfucking life!” while showing Missy.
She also posted a photo alongside the “Get Ur Freak On” singer with the caption: “I honestly can’t believe what’s happening right now.”
“.@Anitta one of the sweetest artist & had me laughing so hard yesterday??You a Star!” Missy Elliott posted online. “And I am truly GRATEFUL to you & your Team you all treated me with so much LOVE & KINDNESS??? Let’s go??#Lobby.” Is “Lobby” the upcoming single’s name?
Twitter fans are all over the news. They are already highly anticipating the upcoming track. One Twitter user said: “Imagine being THIS iconic… @MissyElliott we want spoilers of the song!!!!”
A Twitter user said: “As a lifelong Missy Elliott fan, and new Anitta fan, I have to say that I am excited as hell for this collab. Missy is the GOAT for real for real.”

In her most recent Twitter post, Anitta wrote: “Guys.. it’s not a dream I have a song with the queen !!! ICON.” Who says dreams don’t come true?
With this amount of stardom, it’s no surprise that Anitta has released nothing but hit after hit. Just yesterday (July 6), she released her collaboration “La Loto” with Argentinian singer Tini and Mexican-American pop star Becky G. She’s also set to be featured on Murda Beatz’ upcoming collaboration with Quavo, J Balvin, and Pharrell.
