Aitana Shines in Barcelona with Custom Ze García Corset

Aitana has returned to her home stage with the commanding presence of a global superstar. On September 4, the Catalan singer inaugurated the first of four sold-out concerts at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona as part of her Cuarto Azul World Tour. Amidst a sea of fans dressed in the signature blue and white hues of her latest musical era, Aitana delivered a performance that solidified her status as a pop icon, wearing a bespoke design that perfectly captured the evening’s theatrical spirit.

A Masterpiece of Spanish Craftsmanship

The centerpiece of her look was a custom creation by Ze García, a Barcelona-based firm led by designer José María García. The ensemble featured an intricate corset crafted from pastel pink silk satin, structured with architectural panels that defined her silhouette. This rigid, sophisticated foundation served as a striking contrast to the ethereal layers of tulle and georgette that flowed from the waist, creating a modern, stage-ready interpretation of a classic tutu.

The attention to detail was exceptional. The corset incorporated delicate lace and hand-dyed floral embroidery, bridging the gap between high-fashion corsetry and intimate lingerie aesthetics. Subtle touches of soft blue were woven into the design, ensuring the garment remained harmoniously aligned with the visual identity of her Cuarto Azul project.

The Finishing Touches of a Pop Icon

To complete the look, Aitana wore high-rise pink satin boots by Hispanitas, which elongated her silhouette and added a cohesive, monochromatic finish to the outfit. The addition of Swarovski crystals provided a subtle shimmer under the stage lights, enhancing the movement of the tulle as she performed.

Stylist Alba Melendo, with the collaboration of Aine Marco, curated the ensemble to ensure it functioned as both a work of art and a practical garment for the intensity of a live show. By blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary pop sensibilities, the design not only honored the city of Barcelona but also elevated the visual narrative of her tour to new heights.
