Pitbull Announces 14th Studio Album ‘Pitcoin’
Global music icon Pitbull is officially back in the studio. The artist, born Armando Christian Pérez, has announced that he is preparing to release his 14th studio album, titled Pitcoin. This highly anticipated project follows a period of intense global activity for the performer, who has been busy traversing the globe on his successful I’m Back Tour alongside Lil Jon.
The tour has seen the artist perform across the United States, Europe, Canada, and the United Kingdom. During a recent stop at London’s BST Hyde Park, the star made headlines by helping set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps, engaging a crowd of approximately 70,000 fans. While an official release date for Pitcoin has yet to be confirmed, the announcement has already generated significant buzz among his massive international fanbase.
Continuing a Legacy of Success
The upcoming album follows the 2023 release of his 13th studio album, Trackhouse. Since then, the Cuban-American singer has remained a dominant force in both music and business. Beyond his chart-topping hits, he continues to expand his empire, which includes his record label, Mr. 305 Records, his vodka brand, Voli 305, and his dedicated SiriusXM channel, Globalization. His commitment to education also remains a cornerstone of his career, as he continues to support the SLAM! (Sports Leadership Arts Management) charter school network, which currently serves over 10,000 students across 14 campuses.
A Busy Season Ahead
Following the conclusion of his current tour in late September, the artist is set to head to Miami in October to participate in #Billboard Latin Music Week. He will join a star-studded lineup of talent, including Greeicy, Jay Wheeler, Jessi Uribe, Kany García, Lola Índigo, Paola Jara, RaiNao, Rawayana, Ryan Castro, Trueno, and Zhamira. The event, which takes place at the Faena Forum from Oct. 19-22, is widely considered the most influential gathering in the Latin music industry, focusing this year on the theme of “Global Consolidation.”
The festivities will culminate with the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Oct. 22, which will be broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock.
