Bizarrap Debuts ‘Vol. 60’ Live with Lismar at First New York Headline Show

On Wednesday night (May 22), Bizarrap took over Terminal 5 with his first headlining show in New York City. Performing from behind the decks, the Argentine star enthralled the audience with his energetic set. A standout moment was when he surprised the crowd by bringing out Dominican rapper Lismar to debut their new collaboration, “Lismar: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 60” live. “I just released a song a few minutes ago. Are you ready to hear it live for the first time or not?!” Biza shouted to the excited crowd. “I brought a special guest. Her name is Lismar from the Dominican Republic. We didn’t just release one song, we released two!” Wearing his signature BZRP-emblazoned black cap, sunglasses, and an Adidas windbreaker, he kicked off the electrifying beat of “Vol. 60.”

Lismar hit the stage in a white strapless crop top, black sparkly-net long sleeves, and baggy cargo pants. Bizarrap’s Run DMC-inspired hip-hop beat filled the venue as Lismar delivered her rapid-fire rhymes to the enthusiastic audience. The song’s music video, featuring Biza’s signature blue-hued studio lighting, played in the background. “She is only 18, she is the future,” the Argentine producer said at the end of their performance. They immediately followed with their second song, “Subió La Temperatura,” a funky rap track with riveting breakbeats and a quirky video game-styled visual.

Other notable performances included “Vol. 53” featuring Shakira, whose lyrics the crowd sang along to word-for-word. Bizarrap also played hits featuring Villano Antillano, Quevedo, Residente, Snow Tha Product, Peso Pluma, and Arcángel.

On Saturday (May 18), Bizarrap released his latest collaboration as a sci-fi-themed seven-minute short film. He is also set to perform at the Sueños Music Festival in Chicago, IL, on May 25.
