Hamdi Releases Stacked Remix EP Of His Viral Hit “Counting” Feat. Sammy Virji & More

Hamdi took the world by storm when he released “Counting” back in May 2023. It spread like wildfire through the music industry over the summer, and was given new life when unreleased remixes started hitting set lists. Today, we finally get some of these insanely good remixes with the official release of the Counting Remix EP.

Even with the recent virality of that infectious hook from Princess Superstar after its appearance in Saltburn, it still hits in every remix. It’s really dope to hear each artist make it their own. Sammy Virji adds a high-octane UKG spin to it, while Taiki Nulight offers up a filthy, wub-heavy downtempo version. In addition to the dark, dank DnB remix from Simula, the EP closes out with the vocal dub track from grime artist P Money, who spits fire over Hamdi’s original production.
