Fuerza Regida and Marshmello know how to throw a party. On December 14, the two popular artists finally released their highly-anticipated music video for their hit collaboration “HARLEY QUINN.” The result? A cinematic video featuring lucha libre and two partner-in-crimes in action.

“HARLEY QUINN OUT NOW POR EL CANAL DE FUERZA REGIDA,” the Mexican-American group posted online.

The new music video, directed by Justice Silvera, opens with a cinematic scene. Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP) rides in what appears to be the back of a law enforcement vehicle with his head down, reminiscing a shoot-out. The following clip features the song in a stripped mariachi version, which leads to the EDM-infused música mexicana banger. Visually, we see Marshmello dressed in a charro outfit as JOP escapes out of the vehicle and into another car with his partner-in-crime. Other frames feature the two artists partying while the popular American DJ and producer serves as a referee in a lucha libre ring. Towards the end of the video, we see JOP and his partner shooting at colorful piñatas. 

Fans are thrilled about the song and new visuals. A YouTube user, @BLAZER805, commented: “Once I heard this song for the first time. Damn I know right away it was going to be a hit. I could never get tired of this song.” An X user wrote: “HARLEY QUINN NOW HAS A VIDEO,” with an excited cat gif. 

Other social media users are praising the fusion of genres. A YouTube user, @MultiJuliojose, wrote: “This is how two genres masterfully merge.” 

The music video is currently No. 25 on YouTube’s Trending for music. Besides the joint track’s new visuals, the band released a new video for their single “CUCU.” They also recently teased an upcoming Christmas single called “24 de Diciembre.”
