Deep Root Records Celebrates 9 Years at Avant Gardner
New York’s dance music collective, Deep Root Records, run by entrepreneur Ajamu Kambon and internationally renowned DJ/producer Francis Mercier, will be celebrating its 9th Anniversary at Avant Gardner’s Kings Hall tonight, December 8th.
The event will feature performances from the label’s own MoBlack and Nitefreak, alongside Sam Hysell, JaronPaulJones, Alex Lai, and Sama.
Bringing a truly fresh and unique approach to Afro House, Nitefreak has been receiving immense praise, play, and support from the likes of Diplo, Black Coffee, Shimza, Keinemusik, and many other globally renowned acts.
MoBlack on the other hand, who has been at the forefront of the Afro House scene for decades, brings an unparalleled energy while balancing eclectic taste with an ear for the most forward-thinking, sonic elements.
With both icons headlining, the show promises to be one for the decades!
In addition, Deep Root is now partnering with Earth Cups, a company that produces plant-based cups made out of corn, allowing them to provide consumers with a way to Drink Sustainably.
