Exclusive: Ferry Corsten dishes heavenly hour-long mix ahead of Djakarta Warehouse Project performance
In a storied career spanning decades, Ferry Corsten’s impact in dance music has been indelible. Under his belt, he possesses numerous award-winning albums, two revered projects under Gouryella and System F aliases, and an insatiable curiosity that transcends genre boundaries.
The Dutch producer has done it all, catapulting himself into the finest ranks of trance and progressive house. Known for his classic trance sound that echoes through stadium anthems, Corsten’s journey took a different turn with the debut of Gouryella. Initially a collaboration with long-time friend Tïesto, Corsten later took the reins solo after a 13-year hiatus, delivering chart-topping releases and an innovative open-to-close ‘What The F’ live show concept.
As he continues to enrapture global audiences, Corsten is set to grace the Djakarta Warehouse Project‘s 15th edition in Bali, presenting his Gouryella project with a dose of heavenly trance during the Saturday night peak. Ahead of the festival, he has crafted an exclusive hour-long mix for Dancing Astronaut, exploring melodic techno and progressive house with tracks from favorites like Marsh and HI-LO, alongside his own gems like “Stay Awake” and “Yes Man.”
Catch Gouryella alongside artists such as Ben Gold and Pretty Pink on Saturday, December 9, at Djakarta Warehouse Project. Weekend passes and travel packages are available online.
