WATCH: Marc Anthony Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Musician and actor Marc Anthony can add another honor to his entertainment resume. On Thursday (September 7), the iconic singer received a star on the renowned Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Joining Anthony for the celebration were two of his sons, Ryan, 19, and Cristian, 22, who he shares with ex-wife Dayanara Torres. Also in attendance was Anthony’s current wife, Nadia Ferreira.

“Thank you to everyone who’s been with me throughout the years of my career,” Anthony wrote on social media alongside a set of photos from the ceremony. “This is thanks to you guys!”

In the comments, Ferreira added: “Soooo proud of you Esposo!!!”

During his speech, Anthony described himself as a “man who is a collection of his friendships” and spoke about how he has become the success that he is today.

“This is absolutely humbling,” Anthony said. “I’m not worthy because I have so much more to do. I feel like I just started. This is just the beginning. I know each and every person that has shaped me.”

Before he took the mic, Anthony was visibly shocked when his friend, former soccer player David Beckham, walked up to the podium as a surprise guest. He and Anthony embraced before Beckham told the crowd about their 20-year friendship and what Anthony means to him.

“He is an incredible father, husband, and family man, and he gives so much to the people in his life,” Beckham said. “Marc’s energy and his commitment to his craft is truly remarkable. He is a brilliant ambassador for Latin music and culture.”
