Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull Team Up for U.S. Tour
Three pop icons are joining forces again for a joint tour. Today (May 31), Puerto Rican star Ricky Martin announced he will be hitting the road again with Enrique Iglesias on The Trilogy Tour. This time, they will be joined by Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull.
This isn’t the first time that Martin and Iglesias have toured together. In early 2020, they announced their first joint tour with special guest Sebastián Yatra. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their tour dates were postponed until late 2021. Now, Martin and Iglesias will be teaming up with Pitbull for this second tour together.
“Going back on the road with not only Enrique, but now with Pitbull it’s very exciting,” Martin said in a statement. “This tour will be a wild party from beginning to end so get ready. It’s going to be epic!”
The three Latino superstars will be performing in arenas across the U.S. on the Trilogy Tour. The tour kicks off on Oct. 14 in Washington, D.C. Eighteen more dates will see them visit major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, and Chicago. The first round of tickets will be given through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program. Fans who sign up and receive a code and will be able to purchase presale tickets on Wednesday, June 7.
“The Trilogy Tour will be an amazing experience for ALL of our fans,” Iglesias added. “It’s going to be a once in a lifetime tour.”
The trio’s fan bases are excited to see them on tour soon. “Tell me why I just started crying real tears thinking about seeing Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, and PITBULL OMG,” one person wrote on Twitter with a crying emoji. “Guey van a venir Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias y Ricky Martin,” another fan wrote with purple heart emojis.
Last year, Martin released his Play EP. The year before that, Iglesias dropped his penultimate album, Final (Vol. 1).
