Joan Sebastian’s emotional tribute to son Julian in song “Julian”

Julián Figueroa, the son of the late Mexican star Joan Sebastian and Costa Rican actress Maribel Guardia, has passed away at the age of 28. His sudden death occurred in Mexico City, just one day after Sebastian’s 72nd birthday.

Guardia revealed that Figueroa was found unconscious in his room and medical reports indicate that he died of acute myocardial infarction and ventricular fibrillation.

Figueroa was known for his songs “Pídeme,” “Volaré,” and “Cómo Olvidar.” He had a close relationship with his father, as seen in one of his last Instagram posts, where he wrote a heartfelt message about his father’s passing. Sebastian wrote the song “Julián” for Figueroa 23 years ago, and it remains a sweet tribute to his love for his son.
