Anahí Is Making Her Music Comeback – Here’s How Fans Are Reacting
Anahí is slowly making her comeback into the music scene – and we’re more than excited about it! On Oct. 19, the Mexican pop star posted a clip of her upcoming single “Déjame Vivir,” which is a collaboration with none other than the late Juan Gabriel. The song will be released on Oct. 27.
The short clip features Anahí in an all-black outfit with a corazón sagrado piece in the center of her chest. In another clip, she wears a black and white dress with distinctive puff sleeves. Juan Gabriel is also featured in a quick scene, singing to a microphone.
This comeback has been anticipated for years now. We recently saw her perform “Sálvame” with Karol G, her first live performance in over a decade. Before that, she thrilled us with her presence during the RBD reunion live stream Ser o Parecer: The Global Virtual Union during the pandemic in 2020. She performed with former group mates Maite Perroni, Christian Chávez, and Christopher von Uckermann. They even dropped a new single together called “Siempre He Estado Aquí” after 12 years of hiatus.
So, what’s next? It appears that it’s a hidden gem collaboration with El Divo de Juárez. In late Sept., she also teased a recording session with Juan Gabriel. However, in that clip, she is heard singing what sounds like Juanga’s “Con Tu Amor.” Could it be that she’ll later release this too?
Whether or not she has more Juanga-related collabs up her sleeve, social media users across the platforms are highly anticipating Anahí’s official return to music. A Twitter user wrote: “My idol is going to release a song with my grandmother’s Idol ?? can you imagine that ???? We already want to hear it and sing it together !!!!!” Anahí replied to the comment with heart-eyed emojis.
Needless to say, it’s been quite a year for RBD fans. While we don’t have an official RBD IRL reunion yet, we do have Anahí’s official comeback – and of course, a TBT moment with four former members jamming out to “Rebelde” at Perroni’s wedding earlier this month.
